Hi I was just wondering what this is, can anyone explain plz?

What is Granulation?



Since the vagina is a dark and moist environment, the vaginal cuff may not heal as quickly as external incisions. Granulation is scar tissue that starts to form over an unhealed area, thus preventing/slowing true healing.

There is a good article in Post-Op Articles which explains it and it's treatment.
