Please don't tell me it gets worse!!!!

Bleeding. Lower back pain. Stabbing lower abdominal pain. Three weeks post D&C, two weeks until hysterectomy. Everything but ovaries and lymph nodes going. Teary. Over emotional. Over it! Just hoping the hysterectomy will stop this.

Feel exactly the same way! Not sure I can make it until Dec 10th. Can't take anymore. Have to have faith that it will be better, because right now, I can't fathom it being worse Hang in there

Re: Please don't tell me it gets worse!!!!

I can't tell you much as I am only 15 days out and still having some spotting along with pain in abdomen and back aches but I am hoping for great results. I have had so many friends say its the best thing they ever done and wish they had done it sooner so hoping I too feel relief after my recovery.

Re: Please don't tell me it gets worse!!!!

I can so relate as well. I feel miserable right now, plus tired because of a low iron level. I'm just dragging. Everyone is ready to help after my surgery on the 28th, but no one seems to care how I feel NOW.

It can't get worse, can it? It will be worth it. It just might take awhile. I keep telling myself that.

Re: Please don't tell me it gets worse!!!!

I'm sorry you are having such a hard time. For myself, I had no pain pre op, but expected lots of pain and difficulties postop. Instead, it was easier than I had expected. Everyone is different, but I hope you have a similar experience. You'll have pain meds to take, and you'll need to take it easy, of course. We are here for you as you wait and postop as well.

Re: Please don't tell me it gets worse!!!!

I was 4 months bleeding before my hysterectomy (on Sept 26th) and I felt at the end of my rope. I prayed every day for just some relief. It did stop the week before and I haven't seen a drop of blood since. I know some have bleeding after by I have not. So hang in there, I know its rough but it will all be over soon!

Re: Please don't tell me it gets worse!!!!

I endured 4 years with a doctor who didn't care, and eventually waited 9 months to see my surgeon. Once you have a date in sight, it will be unbearable to wait, and in my case, pain and bleeding were back with a vengeance in the last month. But think about it, you've endured so much up to here, you can manage another month or two. That's what I kept telling myself, since everything went wrong with the last medication attempt back in February. Then I had to wait until I got my date (July) and had my surgery last month.

I was able to find strength to go on where there was none before. You can do it too! Just keep thinking that it will all be so much better soon.
