so upset but angry 2

all ready to go in for op 30th oct got kids sorted hubby got time off work got my stuff ready to go into hosp. then i get a phone call from the hosp they have had to cancel my op till the 22nd november. i was so upset that i had a really good cry but was angry 2. now got another 4 weeks to wait and think about it and re sort my home life out again and have another 4 weeks of bleeding had a lot of pain today as well and thought to myself only one more week and ill be pain free but got 4 weeks of it im glad i didnt tell my kids yet was going to tell them the day before i went in but will leave it again and tell them the day i go in incase they cancel again...

I completely understand. I was Sceduled to have surgery on Oct. 19 and (waited fo 6 weeks) on Monday Oct.16 I got a call from Doc's office that they had to push me back to Nov. 9. WHAT??!! The same week I was scheduled to go in I was pushed back 3 more weeks. At first I was VERY angry. Cried Alot. For me it was hard to convince myself that I was doing the right thing. Finally its close to time and "poof" just like that another 3 weeks. I know it is hard but just hang in there. Sounds like you've got lots of support at home and you definately have it here too.

ga928 thanks for that does make me feel better but you know how i feel as it has happened to you 2 its hard cause you spend weeks thinking am i doing the right thing and when it gets close you think yes i am get all hyped up for op to have a spanner thrown in the works and they cancel on you ( BIG SCREAM) FEEL BETTER NOW ...got to wait 4 weeks now but that will soon come round
