Green Light

Hi Princesses,

I saw my today and he has given the green light for
resuming intimacy. I am really excited
and also a little nervous. My DH is afraid he will hurt me,
so he is very anxious. Does any of my lovely sisters have
any advise to help us get on with it?

Chrissy

Re: Green Light

Hey, Chrissy! Congratulations! Actually, the "hubs" and I
"did it" for the first time this past weekend. He, too, was really worried about hurting me. But we took it nice and easy and I told him, if ANYTHING felt out of whack, I'd let him know. Everything was FINE! Just give your man a big kiss and thank God you have such a wonderful, understanding mate! From what I've read on this website, a lot of sisters aren't as fortunate. Wishing you a "positive experience"!

Re: Green Light

Good Luck! Tell him to be gentle and remember that you are still healing. It is sooooo much better after surgery. I don't have the stress of period on my brain. At my 6 week appt. my dr told me that "it" was for recreation not procreation anymore and encouraged my hubby and I to enjoy "it".

Re: Green Light

Bugger, I hit the six week mark tomorrow but don't have my post op appt until next Wednesday. Everyone is getting back into the "swing" of things in this area and I still have to wait. NO FAIR!!!! Everytime I hint to my partner he smiles nicely and says "NO" not until we see the doctor. I'm getting very frustrated but I suppose he is right, better to be careful than sorry. I hope it is all going well for you ladies and your "first" experience after surgery is a lovely one.

Re: Green Light

Thank you Sisters!
I have a confession to make Kathdaynite. I did not have an appointment when I saw my I ran into him at the hospital in the elevator and would not let him leave untill he knew what was going on. I asked him point blank if I could have sex with my DH since my 6 weeks was up today, so I kind of cheated a little.
Good Luck to you ladies who are ready to resume!
