Post Op 7 weeks- concerns

Hi:

It's seven weeks since my surgery. I feel as if going backwards. Excruciating pain on right lower side. Not sure if part of healing proicess or something wrong. I was able to walk far with no problem. Now it hurts more when walking, standing or moving around.

Anyone feel that way? I also had BSO

I didn't have that particular experience, but I did have a lot of "two steps forward, one step back" throughout my recovery. Sometimes I felt like it was one step forward and two steps back. Hang in there! If you're in a lot of pain, please call your doctor to make sure everything's ok.

I also would suggest that you call your doctor and get checked out. Your pain should be lessening with time, not growing. Let us know what you find out.

I also had the two steps forward, one step back. You should still get the pain checked out, but I did have an increase in pain everytime I changed activity levels. I had been able to walk up to a mile before I went back to work, but wasn't prepared for how much pain I would have for sitting/standing for long periods of time.
