what do all the acronyms mean?

I'm confused and I don't know which acronim I am! :-) I didn't know there were so many different kinds of hysterectomies. I'm freaking out!

I had the same problem when I signed up. If you go to the checkpoints and look under pre-op it lists all of them for you. I can tell you that I couldn't figure out what a DH was for a long time, I believe it can stand for two things depending on how you are feeling about your husband on any given day!!! HaHa!

I'm guessing I'm having a SAHBSO. Taking everything but my cervix through my belly. I really wanted it laproscopically but I have an umbillical hernia too.

I think the acronym I puzzled about the first time was "DH"...LOL!! But quickly figured it out as mine was serving me dinner while I was trapped on the couch due to abdominal pain. You can't beat that! DH for sure!!
