She will need some comfy pillows (a lot) it is hard to find a comfortable sleeping position without pillows to tuck in here and there And I just had to have that tv remote right at my side! cause theres not to much to do besides tv or reading....although I did not have the attention span in the first two weeks or so to sit and read.... I am not sure about the swelly belly thingy but I am sure others will have more knowledge on that and some more suggestions. And I must say your sister is so FORTUNATE to have YOU! Really you rock What a great sister you are

What a great sis you are and she is lucky to have you.

I used a thin pillow for support with the belly. I am a side sleeper. I found that what I thought I would want before surgery was not what I wanted after surgery. Food just did not taste the same.

What my mom and I did was she carried her cell phone with her around the house and I kept the cordless and if I need anything all I had to do was call. If you don't have cell phones get her a bell. My mom made sure my glass was never empty. The last thing you want is to get a dry throat and get the coughs. Hard candies are good for this also. Also a backscratcher is a god send. Anesthesia and pain meds can make you itch.

Your message made me cry. What a wonderful sister you are.
My sister was total insensitive to my surgery. I am close to her and did not expect it at all. When I read your message I thought that is how I wanted my sister to be.

God bless you!
