dVH/RALH: 30 years old having a total hysterectomy

29 here, almost 5 weeks out and feeling SO MUCH BETTER than before the surgery!!!

I'm 33. I'll be having mine the 28th. I've got 2 kids, 10 and 12. I'm ready to be done with it all!

I'm in my late 30's and had Da Vinci hyst back in January. I was nervous but also excited. All went well! I was in and out of the hospital the same day with no complications. Your awake one minute and before you know it, the surgery is over. The pain is not bad. Just feels like you've done a bunch of sit-ups. You will do great! Just think NO MORE PERIODS and NO MORE PAIN! It's pretty amazing!

I'm 37 and just had Davinci hysterectomy. Mine was due to uterine cancer. It's really tough being so young and having to go through all of this. If you have questions or just need support the ladies on this site are wonderful!!!

I'm also 30 and I'm having a LAVH this Monday (2/17/14). I'm not sure if I'll come out with my ovaries, but I'm hoping to keep at least one!

I'm standing with you Love.. I'm 32 ... No Children ... TLH scheduled for 2-20-14... I am sad, nervous, and excited at the same time ... After all the countless surgeries and procedures it's time ... So I will be praying for you and everyone else facing this challenge ahead .. And praying for speedy recovery for everyone!

I'm 32 and having mine 2/19 due to endometriosis and pre cancer cells. I'm super nervous about it, mainly recovery, I need to go back to work ASAP and Dr tells me I should be fine but worrying I'll go back to soon.

I'm 28 and just had my TLH two days ago due to what they thought was endometriosis. They didn't find any even though I've been having uncontrollable pain and bleeding for over 12 years now. I kept my ovaries though since I'm so young and thankful. Went through lupron and wasn't wanting to deal with menopause again yet.

I had my TAH on October 3rd at the age of 33. It was the best decision I have ever made. Of course there was discomfort, but compared to how I had felt for many years..... I felt (and still feel) great. I feel like a new person!
