Now I remember why I'm doing this!
Ugh...Aunt Flo is here and man is she mad about her eviction notice. Percoset is just barely dulling the pain and I am sooo nauseous, bloated and just plain blah! Slept most of last night sitting doubled over clutching my pillow. I can't believe that last week, when I was feeling just fine, I was questioning my decision. Preop is tomorrow and I only hope I can make it through that without barfing or crying. Still frightened but I can't imagine the rest of my life feeling like this every month.

Now I remember why I'm doing this!
Good morning, Kim!
I'm experiencing anxiety and don't even have my date yet! Can't imagine knowing that this week is THE week. However, I've been doing a lot of reading on this site and there is SO much support, good wishes and prayers, not to mention EVERY ONE is so happy to have it done & over with, that I'm also kinda excited to have it. Weird, huh?
Anyway, hang in there, Girleen, you're on your way to being a first rate Princess!!

Now I remember why I'm doing this!
Kim,
I was doing fine and last night for some reason WHAM I was totally freaked about this coming up so fast..........November seemed so far away and now I know it's just a blink away. I think the conversation with DH and hearing how truely shaken he is about the surgery it kind of rocked my world I can't seem to keep it together today, I am painting fixing and keeping as busy as possible to push it from my brain but it is always there and for the shortest of windows I feel physically good which puts me where you were last week Kim and I know it's something I must do. As I am trying to say when I read that waiting was the hardest I hadn't actually been dealing with the waiting till now and now that the denial is over the SISTERS are so right. If I didn't have this site I would feel lost and ALONE and that certainly is not the case. Feeling as sick as you do this week I guess is your bodies way of preparing you for the "other side" which is NO REGRETS I hope you feel better real soon.

Now I remember why I'm doing this!
Thanks ya'll. I'm just hoping it's the added stress becuase my stomach is seriously gronky. That along with the cramps and I am a mess. Felt great when I first woke up so I ate some breakfast. BIG MISTAKE. DH just called and said he would be in the area and would bring me a frozen coke from Burger King. Those usually help. Can't believe last week I was doubting my decision to have this done. Maybe it's the Percoset churning up my insides. Was going to try to get the last of the housework done today but looks like the most I will be doing is holding down the couch and eating crushed ice. I'm so thankful to have this place to come to where people understand how I feel. Thanks so much for listening to me whine. Hoping this will pass and I can waltz into the castle with a smile and not a barf bag

Now I remember why I'm doing this!
I think the nausea is over-riding the majority of my fear right now. It seems a little surreal at this point that I am three days away from major surgery. Just wishing the icky feeling would go away so I could busy myself with housework and get my mind off of it. Need to get packed and make a list of phone numbers for hubby. Is it wierd that I want to bring my own pillow?
One nice thing I have to look forward to is that a good friend of ours is going to loan me his laptop for a couple weeks after surgery so I won't be so bored
Glad I got in one last day on the beach Saturday before Aunt Flo came charging in.
Thank you all sooo much for the hugs and support. I'm really going to need it this week I think.

Hi,
Gosh! You sound so much like me last week. That same nausea is just probably Flo x Stress = Yuck.
When you are in your room after surgery, it is such a relief to know that there will be no more of Flo's nonsense in your life. You'll be lovin' those frozen Cokes because they are Yummmm and for no other reason, YAY!
Take good care girl. You are so there.
Much Love,
Annie
P.S.
Heyyyyy... Oni. I was awake for my whole surgery and you are right, it's a trip! I loved it!

I'm scheduled for surgery Nov. 13 and oddly enough am half-hoping that my next period, due within a couple of days, will be a doozy. You know, so I don't question my decision anymore. If the past couple of days are any indication, I certainly won't be disappointed!
