Hematoma????

Help I have been diagnosed with at least 2 hematoma(blood clots) and it is scaring me. I have one really big one just above my incision and the doctor tried to drain it today and nothing came out!!!! Apparently my blood has clotted big time. Also I have one more just beside it on my innards which is causing me real pain. I sometimes can't move due to the burning sensation. Any one have any ideas as to what I can do to eliviate the pain? I also have blood in my urine and they can't figure out why and have been through 2 bouts of antibiotics now. I thought I was doing good with virtually no pain but sheesh..... this is terrible 2 weeks post op. .....................Thank you

Hematoma????

I still have alot of pain too. Not sure why. Yesterday, and today has been worse for me. I think I have been on my feet way too long for the past couple of days.

I still get worn out. I will be two weeks post-op on this coming Wednesday.

I keep thinking postive.

Hematoma????

I was diagnosed w/11.5 cm hematoma (small grapefruit size)
10 days post-op, via ultrasound. Dr. decided not to evacuate this big blood blister and felt it was safer to let my body reabsorb it.

I was told to come to er again if more pain and bleeding occured.
(meaning the hematoma might have burst and they'd evacuate it)

It healed itself and reabsorbed very quickly (abt. 2 weeks and it was all gone!) This they picked up on ultrasound again. (no more spotting)

At 8 weeks post-op I feel great (oh sure..still a little sore in lower pelvic area...thats normal)

Good luck to you & please let me know how you do...o.k.?

Hematoma????

oh that is good to hear I hope mine can absorb since it is a big clot as far as they can tell. I have had no spotting at all since leaving the castle so I hope I do not start now........which I don't think I will as I have had cervix removed. Thank you for the vote of confidence.
