Clueless about Swelly Belly

Hello to all of you. this is my first post and i first want to thankyou all for the wonderful stories and helpful info i have received. I had my tah on April 5,so I'm one day shy of 2 wks recovery. My Dr did a bikini cut and closed with glue. Have had no problems with bleeding or anything else. I have no idea how my belly should look for some reason I feel it's not right. Put a call into Dr. this morning will get back to me hopefully. I see him Thurs. for my first post-op visit. This is the best way I can describe my belly to you. Lying flat on my back my belly is flat till about 3 inches from my belly button then across my incision I have 2 big lumps right side a little bigger then left. When I press them they are hard (solid). Standing looks the same except my belly is not as flat as when I lye down but I would not consider it to be swollen. Just the 2 mountains, OK hills across my cut. Please help for some bizarre reason I think I gave myself a hernia.Does any of this sound right. I know I'm rambling. Thanks for listening.

MKS,
I also had a TAH and it sounds like it's scar tissue that is healing at the incision area. I think that if you had a hernia you would have a lot of pain. I have the "roll" above the entire incision and it has improved over the weeks.

Talk with your doctor for reassurance but you are probably OK. Best advice I can offer is REST, REST, REST!

Hoping you have a great recovery!
