TVH 9 hours after hysterectomy!

So, I had thus tremendous anxiety, bordering on panic prior to my surgery. I had a total vaginal with laparoscopic assist hysterectomy. My doc (board certified!), had my surgery scheduled for 7:30am, and I literally did not sleep last night. BUT!!! I was up walking around by 11:30 this morning, was able to fully empty my bladder, and was eating & drinking before discharge at 3:00 this afternoon!! I can't believe that I feel so well after major surgery, but with only one Motrin, and a Norco (pain) prescription just in case, am thankful my stress was not necessary.

I am hoping and praying that all my other princesses are just as lucky!! Best wishes &(((HUGE HUGS))) ladies! :-) -amanda

Congrats!! I remember that relief feeling when you open your eyes and realize things are ok. I wish you a good recovery and take the time to rest when you need to. Hugs!!

I promise I am. Been in bed since I got home other than potty trips I'm enjoying the pampering very much!! Other than some bloating I'm not bad. Well the gas pains from the surgical gas, but I expected that. :-)
