4 week post op appointment what to expect?

I have my 4 week post op appointment next week. If the doctor does an internal does he use the speculum like a pap smear or just feels around in there?

All doctors are different and have their own way about how they do things but yes my doctor at 4 weeks did use one to check the vaginal cuff stitches and it wasn't too bad. So don't worry yourself about it just remember they know what they've done to you and are very mindful. Hope all goes well.

I had a 3wk post op, no 4wk. My doc did not do a vag exam. He just looked at my incision and asked questions and went over how I was doing.

My Dr. did an internal exam and poked around some but I had no pain at all.
