Happy Birthday

*hugs* Have a wonderful birthday and I'll say a prayer that you enjoy it immensely.

And, your MIL can suck an egg. That was just rude and inappropriate of her.

Help, Sisters, I'm So Depressed!

Well, sisters, it wasn't so bad to go out last night as I thought! I have two very good friends who have had hysters in the past six months, and they were on a mission to be sure I enjoyed myself. Both also had excellent tips for how to help with a hot flash! Did you sisters know that if you can keep your breasts cooled off, it's not nearly as bad! Did have the worst hot flash of all time last night, bad enough to make me nauseous and scare my poor DH to death, and I finally gave up and stuck an ice cube in my bra. OOH, that felt GOOOD! MIL has been very suportive up until now, ladies, but she's hurting, too. My avatar is for what she's going through right now, and chemo has killed all of her hormones. So, like me, she's prone to a few rounds of ill temper and crying jags. She's been a rock, and I hated to do her an injustice. But, her last round of chemo is next week, so everybody say a prayer: this woman has been more my mother than my own. We just lucked out going through menopause simultaneoulsy, I guess I feel bad for our families! Also, I'm looking forward to the first pain free year of my adult life, and Aunt Flo no longer rules my universe! I am now 28, and to me! Thanks so much, my sisters!
