LSH: Is anyone a smoker......

Yes, I too am a smoker and yes I did smoke on the way to the hospital and in the hospital parking lot before I went in. Was in for 3 days, couldn't smoke, and first thing I did in the car on the way home (we weren't even out of the hospital drive way) lit a cigarette.

I smoked one cig the morning of and smoked a few the night before after midnight. I was nervous! I told them at pre-op I was a 1/2 pack per day smoker and the nurse just told me it was bad for me, which I already know. I didn't smoke while in the hosp but did light up on the ride home. But everytime I lit one those first few days I would get so sick feeling, and even now I don't have the strong cravings like before. IDK, I'm not as moody or anxious as I was before so maybe that has something to do with it. Hopefully I can quit altogether soon!
