unfortunate update

Hey everyone. I had my hysterectomy on April 29, 2011. Had been doing great... or so I thought. Went to emergency on Sept. 19 and had a cancerous tumor (and 14 inches of intestine) removed from my colon the next day. Next week I meet with my oncologist to decide what, if anything needs to happen next. Just wanted to let you all know and ask for prayers. Hope you are all doing well and on to a complete recovery. I am sorry all of this is happening. Be glad that they got it all out. Who did the surgery?? (specialty). I am hoping it was the gyn/oncologist.

At any rate wait to see what the oncologist says. List all of your questions. Ask for a copy of the pathology report so that you can study and google all of it, word by word.

You need to know what happened, what your prognosis is, and what more is to be done, if anything.
