Hysterectomy due to CIN 3
Hello! I am one of the unlucky ones like you who had a hysterectomy due to CIN III. This was the 3rd battle with it in 4 years. Finally my Dr suggested a hysterectomy and I jumped at the chance! Finally, no more worrying all the time about when it would turn into cancer.
On the downside, once my Dr got into my uturus, he found cancer. He had expected to find cancer in my cervix, but not in my uturus. His theory is that it started in my uturus and moved downwards to my cervix.
When I had the colposcopy done on Dec. 5th, I had 3 "spots", one at 12, one at 4 and one at 9. (as if looking at a clock), by the 29th of January, it had completely covered my cervix.
I'm sorry to give you such news, but this is just MY experience, and my Dr even told me that usually it can take YEARS for it to turn to cancer. I am praying for you that it does not turn.
