Surgery on Monday

Hi! Just wanted to let you know--you're not alone. I'm going in on Wednesday, and feel like I'm losing my mind!

I too am visiting the Castle on Mon. the 24th. Having a TAH/BSO and this morning i'm unable to hold a thought for more than 10 seconds. My mind is racing and i'm feeling a little overwhelmed with all those last minute things that need to be accomplished! My son who is 5 has a good little friend who just had a kidney transplant 2 days ago and I just keep telling myself...If she can do THAT, I can certainly do this! Might sound strange, but, it gives me comfort. I know we'll both do great, just focus on the "other side". I'm looking forward to feeling better.
