Post-Op Week 5

Hi, Ladies

Had a TAH/BSO on 3/24 and still have significant abdominal/incision pain. Starts right below my navel and extends down to incision. Pain worsens on the sides of the incision. Not taking any pain or anti-inflammatory meds. Still wearing a belly band/binder for support. Feels very bruised, sharp pain - not achy. Belly still puffy. Thought I'd be past this by now. Don't have 6-week check until May 12. Is this normal??

I think having a little bit of pain and discomfort is pretty normal. I took motrin for several months after my lavh/bso.
