Questions about Doctors

This might be a dumb question but I am just curious. I had my dVH/RALH on 9/23. I had one post-op visit 2 weeks after and I will have another 4 weeks after surgery. My surgeon is a Gynecologic Oncologist who I absolutely love. I wish he was my regular OB/GYN but he does a great job with his speciality that I would never want him to go away from what he does which is treat cancer patients with the greatest care possible. Everything came back as non-cancerous for me which is great and it has taken some stress away from me. For those who had a non-cancerous report from your surgery and went to a Gynecologic Oncologist did you have to follow up with him/her within a year? I am just curious.

Re: Questions about Doctors

My GYN/Oncologist said he would be my doc from here on out even though I didn't have cancer. Maybe yours will be too!

Re: Questions about Doctors

I never thought I would be excited about that. LOL Being excited about a doctor who looks at your hoo hoo all the time. LMAO, OK, I just got into a fit of giggles, I so needed that. I am hoping that is the case with me as well. I love my doctor so much that he emailed me over the weekend to see how I was doing because he was worried about me mentally, from my visit on Thursday and from my email from Saturday when I asked him if I could fly. He told me he normally doesn't allow his patients to do so but because I am struggling so badly that he will allow me.
