4mos after surgery, is this normal?

I had my hysterectmy 4mos ago. My ovaries & everything was taken out due to lots of cysts, and tumors. To this day I still have a lot of pain. Especially where my hips are in the back. Also a pain down my right leg if I sit the wrong way or lay wrong. That was one of the pains I had complained about before the surgery. Is it normal to still be in pain like this 4mos later?
Before the surgery I walked 5miles a day. Now I'm lucky to do 2miles. If I do, I'm in so much pain in my hips & the area inside where I'd imagine my ovaries were, that I'm hobbling home. It's awful. How much longer should I expect this pain? The Dr who did the surgery said I'd be recovered 6wks after surgery!!! TIA

Sorry you're still in pain. . Have you seen your regular dr or a pain specialist? I don't think you should still be suffering this far out.

I am not a doctor but it sounds like sciatica pain. I have had issues with my sciatic nerve for years and pain down one leg is usually a strong indicator that I need to get in to my chiropractor because I have waited to long. My hips will hurt and it will feel somedays like one of them is going to pop out of joint when my sciatic nerve is being pinched.
