TAH Still no solid poop after three weeks.

Sorry for the lovely topic.

This is really worrying me now.

I've not had a normal poop ever since I've had my hysterectomy, 3 weeks ago. I'm worried as I had a lot of endometriosis stuck to my bowel. Is this normal or should I visit the doctor again. I've mentioned it before but he said it was probably a virus. But for three weeks!!!

I would call your doctor. Thats a long time. Have you tried anything to help you go?

I am only 7 days out and I am taking a stool softener with a laxative and am drinking a 10 gram soluble fiber drink. I am still having issues not being able to go. I would definitely call the Dr. They said if I went longer than 5 days to let them know.

I was three weeks out Monday and doctor said take miralax...you don't want solid poop yet...they don't want you to bare down...he did a quick internal and said I still have stitches dissolving and that I need to continue on stool softeners until he tells me otherwise

I'm going to the loo 3-4 times a day, but its runny. I'm more opposite to constipated. I've taken laxatives incase I'm blocked but its made no difference.

@mrs if you take laxatives they will keep you runny.

I think I may have to go get some stool softeners - I had my surgery Tuesday, and today is Friday, and I still have not gone - I have even tried eating foods that usually make me "runny" to no avail. gas pain is sucky

Ahh. I took them once at the beginning of the week. X
