Hematomas? Probe?

Anyone have post op hematomas? My hematoma started to show 3 days post op above my incision on the left side. It could have been there before but I was busy worrying about the "stuff" that was gushing out of my incision on the right side sorry. That turned out to be "serum" and normal but as soon as I hung up the phone with my surgeon, I looked at my incision and noticed a "golf ball" that was blueish. Called the doc back and he wants to probe it on Monday first thing in the morning. It was twice the size an hour later and seems to be the same now-48 hours later. Anyone know what probing it means? Sounds like poking it or draining it?? I'm a little freaked about that.

I'm sorry you're experiencing this.
