Re: Had Davinci Which led to hernia/bowel obstruction surgery

I clearly have not had as bad an experience as you, poor thing!!! I hadn't heard horror stories about the davinci prior to my surgery. I only heard how women recover in a few weeks, back to normal activities, etc. So I went in expecting smooth sailing and it was so not that. I was afraid to research it -- taken me three months to do so!! I think we should let women know that maybe in most cases it's a breeze, but for some of us it just wasn't so. I'm glad you told your story because I really was feeling like I'm weak or a loser because I've had the issues I'm having. It does take the body a good six-twelve months to recover from surgery and my body's taking its time!

take it day by day and hope tomorrow is always better than yesterday. Thank god for family and friends. Hope today is a good day for everyone.:
