Back-to-work weight gain?

Well, I'm six weeks post-op and I started back to work this week. Things had been going pretty well, and I felt really ready to come back to work. Since I started back, though, I am gaining weight and retaining water, even though I am eating more or less what I ate when I was at home. After working four days this week, I have gained four pounds! I had been able to wear all of my pants (even though my belly was swollen), but this morning none of them fit. Has anyone else had this problem? Any idea what could be causing it?

My guess would be you are retaining water because you are doing more than you did when you came home. Other sister have commented on it - I don't remember where - but once they started doing more they would swell up. Once you body gets usted to the "new" routine I bet you start lossing it. I have ran into the same thing the few times I have been out of the house. I am 2 weeks postop today. But the few times I have been up doing more I swell more by that night.
