Is this a dumb idea?

Many have mentioned buying larger panties for recovery.

Has anybody used materity panties? Wouldn't they be more comfortable, flexible, etc. under the circumstances?

I hate restrictive things anyhow. What you you all think?

I say go for it. Especially if you have some already from a previous pregnancy. The only drawback would be if you had to buy them new. They can be pricey compared with regular undies.

The goal is comfort so go ahead and do anything that will help you reach that goal.

I just had a baby 5 months ago and had my LAVH BSO July 23 and yes I did use maternity underwear and they were very comfy. I bought mine at kmart 3 pack for $10, I did not spend much, probably no more than a regular pack of undies.

Hey, I say when it comes to comfort, there are no dumb ideas!! Go for it! They would be very comfortable I bet.
I know that the first couple weeks after my surgery I lived in those slinky material leggings. They stretch forever and were really the only thing I found comfortable. I didn't think I would ever be able to wear my jeans again, but eventually I could.
