Aunt flo, Bleeding really bad

ok I am bleeding really bad here. My old GYN gaven premarin one time to help stop the bleeding. I still have it and was wondering if I could take it again this close to surgery. My surgery is May 18, or should I try to wait to see what happens and call the dr on Mon, if it has not slowed down.

Man this pain is unbearable. As of the past 2 days I am actually looking forward to this surgery. Right now I am in too much pain to do anything and bleeding so heavily that I don't want to go to far from the house,

It really stinks, cause we were suppose to go to Galtin burg, Tn this weekend to help get my mind off of things and we could not go cause of my pain.

Now we were gonna go an hour or so away to go to a Hog festival and I am bleeding so bad I don't want to go, but at the same time I don't want to sit in the house either, as I know I will be doing that very soon.

What is one to do?

Hi Kim
Is there a doctor "on call" at your gyn's office. Maybe a quick phonecall is all it will take. I wouldn't start taking the premarin without making sure it won't affect your surgery date.

Do you have an "urgent care" facility or even a walk in clinic near you? They may be able to give you an answer regarding the premarin right away, or may prescribe something different.

Sweetie, I know how it feels having your plans ruined by the fact that you're bleeding like a "stuck pig" as my hubby so kindly puts it.

Just think....soon this will all be over.

Ican relate to that it is icky

Imagine having to plan you life about your bleeds... then stepping out only with two pads and a tampax and not beign far away from home for more than an hour ..

some days I used to want to sit on the toilet and not come out
