Got a date!!!

I went to see my Gynae Consultant this morning and he's given me the 7th November for my op.

I couldn't beleive it!

I have been walking on cloud nine ever since.

Just thought I needed to share...

Got a date!!!

Congratulations on having your surgery scheduled! It is a relief to finally make the decision and have the date set.

I'm 4 days post-op and am thrilled with my surgery! I hope yours will work out great, too.

Best wishes!

Got a date!!!

I felt the same way after I got my scheduled date, like a huge weight was lifted, all the tests you go through, and the waiting for the tests. It was a big relief for me to go and speak with my doctor about my hysterectomy, and to have my my what type, when, and where questions answered.
Also I would like to take some time out to wish you a speedy recovery, you are in my prayers,God bless.

Got a date!!!

I'm so happy for you! I'm the day after on the 8th. Isn't it a nice feeling of finality when finally given the date. I was on a cancellation list for almost 3 months before I got my date and waiting for the call was worse than waiting for Christmas! lol

They made you wait 3 months?! That must have been so hard! With my doctor, I was able to pick most any time I wanted. I'm glad you don't have to wait much longer. The waiting is definitely the hardest part. I only had to wait 2 weeks but even that was kinda hard.

Best wishes!

Thanks ladies

That's it! Tomorrowit is!!!!

Very nervous and anxious about the recovery!
When I think of my journey that got me here, I still get very cross and upset ( 1 missed m/c and 2 EPs).

But at least, I can look forward to a brand new year. A fresh start! A new woman!!!

Love and hugs

Got a date!!!

Best wishes for a good surgery and quick recovery!

P.S. What does "1 missed m/c and 2 EPs" mean?

A hysterectomy does give us a fresh start--that's how I feel about mine, too!
