Feeling alot of pain in right ovary....10 weeks post-op LSH!

I do not know what to do. Since this evening, I have been experiencing alot of pain coming from my left ovary. At one point I doubled up with pain. I am also feeling major cramping on that side as well. I have also been spotting almost everyday! Is this normal? My doctor is 4 hours from me. I do not know if this is something to call over or not. I know that they say that the ovaries wake up and go to sleep but is waking up in this manner normal???? It's terrible!

Hi

That sounds strange and I would definately check in with your doc. I had an LSH 20 days ago and my right side has hurt all along. I have both ovaries. I am not sure what my pain is from since it doesn't come and go, it is constant.

It could just be your hormones are still balancing out and the ovary is rebelling. But you might have gotten a cyst, it might have burst... how long have you had the pain and is it constant?

It very well could be cyst/s on one or both of your ovaries. Have you had cyst before? Is it the same pain? Cyst on your ovaries are very painful, especially if they bust. I think I would call your doc and see what they had to say, especially being so long after surgery. You sd he is four hrs away, is there a doc closer? Maybe see if they could do an ultrasound. I wish the best for you.

I agree it could be a cyst. Give a call to your doc. (day or night).
