More potty talk

So I was able to have a bm finally last night and I just had another one today. This time though if I tried to push at all it was like my body took over and I would have these contraction like feelings a couple of times. They hurt like crazy too! One almost made me jump off the toilet! Lol now my abdomin and lower back are really sore. Anyone else have these uncontrolable pushes? Are they normal?I'm not even really sure how to describe them other than my tummy gets tight and they take my breath away.

What helps me is putting one foot on a short stool and the other on the floor. My bm pain has been minimized greatly. At first I put both up but found that the other way worked even better. Hope that helps.

I am still having what I call spasms when I have a BM. It feels like a spasm anyways. I have been taking stool softeners and I put in a suppository today that seem to help alot. Still got gas pains as well. I am wondering too when the poopy pains will get better.

I admire you for trying! I'm too afraid.... Afraid of tearing a suture if i try to hard, afraid of it being too painful... Crazy, who ever thought you can be afraid of a bm?
