Day 2 spots of blood 10 months post hysterectomy

Hi all

I am a bit worried. I am on the pill to stop me from ovulating as I kept my ovaries. My hysterectomy was 10 months ago.
Yesterday, I started spotting red blood which then turned alittle brown. I am used to having mini periods after my hysterectomy but I am on day 11 of the pill..so how can it be a mini period?
My doctor is away, but his nurse said not to worry. Its now day 2 and when ever I go to the loo, there is blood.

Should I just wait it out, and maybe my body is getting used to this pill I am on, or panic? gulp.

DebbyAnn, I would try not to panic too much. It could be that your body is still getting adjusted to the pill. If the bleeding is heavy or continues past the length of whatever time your mini period was, I'd give the doctor's office a call back, but it could be that your system needs a little time.

Thank you for your answer. It is still going on, but only after I have a bowel movement.
