So confused - post ablation concerns (updated)

Hello I am new here! I had the endometrial ablation in September of 2011 I am one of the lucky few who still get her period I still bleed and have terrible cramps and cloying but that was it until recently on Dec 29th I started having sever abdominal pain stabbing on left side went to my regular dr who first thaught it was divertiticulitis was put on antibiotics had terrible pain all of the weekend of new year ended up in er new year day they did ct scan said it was normal then said it wasn't diverticulitis? Was put on anti nausea meds followed uP with my dr again few days later who had me get a ultra sound of pelvic the ultrasound above couldn't show anything? They did traNs vaginal which showed a few fibroids and a cyst on right ovary! And it also said my uterus was enlarged? Was told to go to OBGYN dr it wasn't the same dr who did ablation but an associate of his who examined me said he didn't think any Of my Pain was from cyst or fibroids he thaught it could be a pelvic infection so he put me on more antibiotics then I started vomiting and black stuff was coming out my regular dr sent me to er again I had a low grade fever then they did a regular X-ray which was fine and more blood work which was also normal they also did a rectal which was fine no bleeding there. Followed up with my regular dr again who did a abdominal ultra sound more blood work which all came back normal! Was told to see a gastro who I just saw 3 days ago I had low grade fever again? I now have an appointment for a colonoscopy and a endoscopy on Tuesday! He said that is the only way to find out wat is going on with my abdomen? I have been out of work for 19 days now have terrible pain and nausea have lost 10 pounds from all this! Have no energy have low grade fevers and the chills My Problem is I have seen numerous forums on here and other websites and a lot of peoPle who had the ablation seem to be having the same issues! Does anyone have any suggestions on what is wrong with me? I feel so lost and confused just want the pain to go away I am currently on pain meds and anti nausea meds! Please someone HELP

(((JodiDi)))

I am sorry you are not feeling well and it is taking awhile for your doctors to figure out what is wrong. I hope you have some answers soon!

To help figure it all out, it would be a very good idea to keep a detailed symptom diary. This can help your doctors see if there are any patterns to your pain and symptoms and help you keep an accurate account of everything you are going through.

in there and don't hesitate to see medical care from ER or Urgent Care if necessary, and consider a second gynecological opinion as well.

So done figure out what is wrong with me!

Well today had endoscopy and colonscopy to be told by dr they found no reason for me to be having this much abdominal pain? In September of 2011 I had the no assure ablation everything was fine til December 29th had a stabbing pain in abdomen went to my dr he said diverotic ilia want to er they did ct scan it was normal? To to my dr she orders a ultrasound which showed fibroids and a cyst to to OBGYN who said pain isn't from fibroids or cyst? Then he says maybe a pelvic infection? End up in er again they take me off antibiotics and tell me to go to gastro go to gastro he says let's do an endoscopy and colonoscopy do that today and it's normal? Tomorrow go to OBGYN again to see what he says now? Does anybody have any suggestions). Desperate at this point!

Re: So done figure out what is wrong with me!

I had tnat pain to. Did all that you did plus scans of back ect. The pain would be so.bad and no one for.years could figure it out hmmmmm well it got worse during my period that red flagged me to have another ultra done it turned up with small fibroids ok doct decides pain gone on.enough so had a hyst it turned out my uterous fell into my spine so they could not see the real pict. I looked like I was pregnant and bloated all the time. This may not be you problem but I also had a cyst burst and that was so painful. I dont understand why they dont think your fibroids and cysts couldnt.be.the.reason.does it get worse during you period lo hope you get better

Is what you had done where they burn the uterous to stop bleeding? When I had cysts the hurt like hell some dont they can burst and the pain,is bad. You said you threw up black stuff . Are you still in pain when I had a cyst burst the pain lasted weeks I had fever due to the toxins it released. So you know what its not from the colonoscopy where is the surgon. honey I hope you feel better. I went to the er 5 times after surgery. To only discover the doct put to low estrogen on me. So If your not doing well I would be persisnent. Lol im here alot if you need someone to talk to
