Hysterectomy: April 8th, 2014

Surgery Type: LAVH

Ovaries: Kept 1 or both

May 6th is my Hysterectomy Date!!

This is the day I fought hard for. In my early twenties I begged for a hysterectomy with horrible endometriosis, cysts on ovaries that would painfully rupture, and horrible periods. I tried every birth control saw six different doctors and an endometrial specialist.
Now that I am 31 I will be 32 July 7th, 2014 I finally after getting a third honest opinion about a hysterectomy and trying the Mirena twice! I finally have my date!!!

May 6, 2014 is the day I have been waiting for, the day I have researched hysterectomy numerous times on credible sites to know enough, to know it won't cure everything but I am like my doctor said "A good candidate for."

This is truly the last resort! I am feeling a little emotional. Yet blissfully ecstatic at the same time. Is that strange?

So I wanted you to know so you can put me on the surgery date list. Thanks,
