Ouch.....

Need some guidance. I am 5 weeks post-op. Had an LAVH (everything is gone). Had horrible adhesions, fibroids plus something I had never heard of until 5 weeks ago - andomyosis! Also had the bladder work (can never remember what that is called)!

I've probably done most all of the things I should not do..back to my job in 4 days, housework within a few days and recently did some outside work with (STUPID ME) heavier lifting that I should have by far. I get SOOO bored if I have to sit around doing much of nothing.(Enough whining on my part).

Anyway, it really hurts to go to the bathroom now (any kind of bathroom function). Deep down below the pelvic bone and it's also painful deep inside in that area.
Has anyone experienced this problem? I hope I haven't messed something up in there anywhere. Don't see my doc again until 12/9.....any insight from anyone?

Thanks!!!

Bonni - you might have injured yourself. I think you should get a hold of your doctor and 'fess up. I hope everything is OK. From this moment on, you have to start complying with your post-op instructions.

I think you should see a doctor, too. Don't wait until December.

Hi Bonni,

I ditto what has been said, time to fess up to your doctor as you really may have caused yourself an injury. At the very least you may have created adhesions. So off you go and see the doctor as soon as possible and goodluck with the scolding he may give you.

Take care........Karen
