Should I be worried?
I have a question....
I have increased spotting today- and just a little while ago when I wiped I found a bit of well, not clotting, but like some type of pinkish discharge/clump stuff. Not a lot, just a little bit, but I am still worried. Is this normal at all?
Thanks everyone!

Should I be worried?
Hi
Call your Dr in the morning, most likely it is gradulation. If you are not seeing red blood it can wait until morning, if it turns red go to the er tonight.
I had some discharge, went to the bathroom and passed what looked like a small blood clot of course I freaked called Dr, they had me come right in and it was gradulation. He put some silver nitrate on it and had me come back in two days by then it had started to heal.
But don't put ir off call Dr in morning.
Hope you feel better
Karen

Should I be worried?
Mind you everyone is different but I had increased spotting(bleeding) throughout my recovery until I hit 5 weeks. Some days I would go with pretty much nothing and then the next day I would have to jump back up to a thin pad instead of a pantiliner. The clumps I did not have and it would be a good idea to call your dr to atleast let them decide. Even if it is nothing it will atleast put your mind at ease.

Should I be worried?
Hi Texas Gal,
I have the same thing going on right now, it is just enough to need to wear a panty liner. My surgery was May 9th. I saw my doctor today for my 2 week check up and he said everything looks normal.
As always don't fear calling your doc, that is what you paid him for!
I do see alot of women posting that they have some sort of discharge throughout their recovery time though, so it sounds like we all get it.

Should I be worried?
I found this on another post about granulation:
Granulation is basically scar tissue that is overly aggressive in its development. It's usually filled with lots of capillaries and is easy to bleed - if found late in the healing process, it can get bumped during sex and result in bleeding...which freaks everyone out.
Hyster Sisters has a granulation link - I'll see if I can find it.
Granulation is "fixable" - usually in your doctor's office with silver nitrate or some other forms of cauterization.
And I am 4 weeks post-op today and still having to wear a pad or liner, just depends on what I have done that day. When does this normally stop?
