Its all in the wording!!!!!!!

To those ladies experiancing some Insurance difficultys ...I have <admin. snip - no insurance company names, please!> If I am to be in the hospital over 23 1/2 hours I am supposed to have a pre-certification which had not been recv'd up to this point ...Then found out that "MOST" vaginal hysta's are considered outpatient surgerys....If this is a problem your doctor can admit you into the hospital for what is called 23 hour observation and if you have to stay longer then the doctor calls the insurance company everyday that your there with the reason why you have to stay and they have to accept the doctors diagnosis....Now this is how its done here in Georgia I'm not sure if all <admin. snip - see previous snip> plans respond in this manner or not but if your having problems with the insurance company its worth asking about it definitly lowered my stress level.................11days and counting......YEE HAW!!!!!!!
