Mini periods

A question for people who are a bit further on than me if anyone can help - i kept my ovaries and cervix, apparently a "long stump"and was warned that even though they cauterized the cervixI would probably get a bit of bleeding from this at period times. I had none the first cycle, and about 24 hours minimal spotting the second time. Does anyone know if this increases over the months as the cauterized tissue regrows? It can't be as bad as the periods I had before! but forgot to ask how much I should expect at my check up and have now been discharged.
