TAH 7 days post hysterectomy: Light bleeding prior to Staples removed

Hi today I'm 7 days post op. TAH but kept both ovaries. Staple removal was today. I had slight bleeding / spotting in between a staple area. Dr had me keep my appt instead of going to ER. Says nothing to worry about, as long as I'm not changing abdominal pad hourly. It's very light spotting from incision. He said its nothing out of ordinary and incision looks fine. Anyone else experience this? Not really worried but looking from reassurance from experienced sisters. Staples were removed and glue and strips were applied.
