Hi everyone! I am new to this site. I had my surgery on 9/13/07 and it has been the greatest thing I did. I do not regret it at all. BUT (you know there is always a but) I have been extremely tried, no energy, and have cold flashes. Has anyone else had these problems and if so, any suggestions.

Hi! to the Hormone Jungle!

I'm sorry that you're experiencing so many symptoms. It's possible that this is related to hormone imbalance but the symptoms could also be a sign that your thyroid levels are off, for example. Are these new symptoms or have you felt this way since surgery? What are you using for hormone therapy? Have you had your thyroid levels checked recently?

Hopefully some Sisters who have experienced the same symptoms will be along to share. Meanwhile, you may want to browse through this resource: Hormone Jungle Articles.

No the symptoms are recent. I have been feeling this way for about 2 months. I am on .05 mg of Vivelle which I change twice a week. I am really tired, weak, no energy, and have cold flashes. I felt really good have the surgery. No I have not had my thyroid checked.
