Husband asking when can we have sex

I am two weeks post op, still in pain. I know this is a new year and all and my husband and I usually have our traditions on NYE but he had the nerve to ask me that morning, was it to soon for sex. At that moment I really wanted to stab him so he can feel the pain that I am feeling and then ask him the same questions. This man watches me cry at night from the pain, did he really have to much eggnog to ask such a dumb question. Right now he is lucky I am not dealing with mood swings.

I waited until 6 or 7 weeks I think (doc cleared me at 4, way too soon in my mind). I had to talk my boyfriend into it because he was so afraid of hurting me.

Everything has been back to normal since then, thank goodness!
