How do I know? ovaries up or evamist working??? what will happen?

hi
i am 10 post op- i was having all the menopause symptoms about 3 weeks out and finally went to the doctor.. he did bloodwork to see... my numbers were off the chart!!!
he gave me Evamist, 2 sprays a day- he said this should help.

Re: How do I know? ovaries up or evamist working??? what will happen?

It is not unusual to have symptoms at 3 weeks post op. The blood supply to the ovaries is usually cut off during surgery and it can take awhile for them to wake back up. If your ovaries start to work optimally and you are using estrogen there is a possibility that you will get symptoms of too much. I think you should keep a journal of your symptoms, this will give you and your doctor a better idea of what is going on over a period of time. You can read about symptoms of too much estrogen in the articles at www.hormonejungle.com
