what happen after a hysterectomy

Does anybody feel like me? I'm very concern what happen to my body since I had my hysterectomy. I m new to the program and it really help me . Going through this has me wondering a lot whats next.

coticaharris, is there a particular concern you have? Like what happens with your hormone levels,; or what's in that space now that my uterus is gone? Or will I have emotional problems?
Looks like you're about 6 weeks out from surgery. What are you noticing different in how your body functions? I'll bet someone else here has noticed the same thing.
If your curiosity is about sexual response and function, I think there's a forum thread about that.

I remember wondering the same thing. What is this sensation, why is this happening? Lots of check ins with the doc and nurse by phone helped. After the first 6 weeks I settled in a bit and relaxed. 3 months, 6 months and now 1 year later I feel so much better. Just keep breathing, noticing,staying in touch with your doctor and RESTING. Resting was the key piece in my healing process.
