First bleeding at 9 days

Probably a stupid question:

I had TAH/BSO on 6/3 and just started bleeding. Actually spotting. DR said it was normal and I've read a lot of you ladies have experienced it.

Anyone know why it would start this far down the road? I've had nothing until now. And if the uterus is gone (along with everything else) where is it coming from? Internal stitches? Outside is doing fine.

Yes, it could be your internal stitches starting to dissolve.

if it increases or doesn't stop, you want to let your dr know what is up.

I didn't have a discharge for almost 3 wks. and now at almost 8 wks. i'm wondering if it will ever end. I think it is the internal stiches desolving. I quess mine are just slow to dissolve. My Dr said it was nothing to worry about, but i forgot to ask him how long it should last.

Mine started at about 10 days. I had a silver nite treatment and while it didn't work right away the bleeding soon subsided. Now at 7 months post op I'm happy to say that I haven't had any further problems.

I didn't start spotting until about a week after my surgery. Luckily, it only lasted a few days. My dr. assured me that it was normal.

My TAH was on June 2 and I started spotting on June 9. I haven't stopped yet.
