second surgery

This is my first time in this site. I have learned alot from others. I will be having another hysterectomy on Nov.18,02. My first hysterectomy was almost a year ago. The doctor I have had for about 5 years did the surgery. I was told everything came out great. He told me there was a piece of the cervix he could not get. Three weeks after surgery I had a period. I thought it had something with all the walking around in the store. (five days after surgery) So I took it easy but another period came. I Called my doctor and went in to see him. I was told everything was fine. The next month another period came. I called the doctor he told me my hormones were just crazy. As you can tell I got no where with him. My husband said get another doctor so I did. He is so great. He checked me out and did tests on me. I was told that my cervix and part of my uterus was there. I was very upset. The heavy bleeding I had before is just about back again. Cramping all of the time. But I have a caring doctor. He calmed me down and made me laugh. The first surgery was a TAH (it was suppose to be) but this time it should vaginal.
I have a good sense of humor about it. If I didn't I would be crying. Has anyone had this happen? I hope not, but if so, please let me know.

Oh my gosh! I am so sorry you had to go thru this TWICE! Your first doc deserves a . I am very glad that your second is great and making you feel a bit better about it all.
Soon you will be a true , and this will all be behind you, and you will feel SOOOO much better!
