Pre test paper work

I am schedule for a TAH. I authorized both ovaries to be removed but the doctoris going to leave them if he can. They were not visible on the trans-vaginal ultrasound. The paper work probably has to state that so they can proceed during surgery if they need to come out.

At the hospital I work for when we schedule TAH/SAH/LAVH or VH we usually say poss BSO/LSO or RSO. On most medical form that we sign the fine print says the surgeon can do what is medicnally necessary. You should always talk to your surgeon before your procedure FYI. I knew I was having it all removed surgery is a big part of my life so I understand it well.
