Kegel Exercises
Have any of you tried to do Kegels? Or did your doctor tell you to do, or not to do them?
I tried a few, VERY easily, and it didn't hurt! But I don't want to pop any internal stitches!
I'm 6 days post op!
Any thoughts?

Not a doctor but that should be fine. The stitches are up really far and if anything you will be strengthening your muscles sooner.

my doc never said anything but it was said to be a good idea in the booklet sent home with me from the hospital. i have been doing them since about day three, (pain pill fog), and i am now five weeks out. no problems, but i was easy with it at first.

I never received a booklet about Post Op healing! I'm probably going to call him tomorrow...which is 1 week post op!
