Hanging bulge 13 days post op..WHAT?!

So I had my surgery march 2nd and took a gander at the vajayjay around the 6th or 7th. I was expecting this refreshed vagina or at least the same thing but it looks awful! Just below the urethra but above the vaginal opening is this bulge with something that looks like closed lips hanging out of it. It's hard to describe but maybe someone who has experienced it can picture it. There are also some thin skin tag looking things at the bottom of the opening of my vagina....what the heck?!

Alliedecat - I too was shocked upon looking. I was looking cause I had a bulge there also. After spending some time having a good cry I rang the hospital and they said it was swelling. I was so afraid that was there to stay as it felt worse than prior to having surgery.
The hospital told me I was over doing it and the swelling was from that. Make sure you rest up and don't do too much. I have a thread here

Since I've planted myself back on the lounge the swelling has gone completely and everything feels hunky dory again.
I think you'll find the bulge will go so hang in there and rest rest rest. As the say here.... you only get one chance to heal.
If you've got any doubt though u should ring your Dr.
