5 wks post op DaVinci

I'm 5 wks post op went back to work full time on 2nd wk post op I have kinda of a office job with lots of up and down and the work area is very stressful but I have managed it. I have felt great since wk 2 except I get extremely tired and exhausted. I was tired and run down a lot before surgery I thought because of being in so much pain for 1 1/2 yrs. So I'm not sure if it just I'm over doing myself is the cause now? I hear people say listen to your body it will let you know if your overdoing it.... But I must be so stubborn cause I keep try to see what more I can do cause I feel great and have no pain. sorry for rambling. I want to know if there are others that have felt this way or is it possible that I could be overdoing my self to the point I can harm the healing process?

You are still in the initial healing period that can go on for 6/8 weeks and if you had complications or were a slow healer it can be more like 10/12 weeks. Full recovery is 6 to 12 months.

I went back to work at 6 weeks and was exhausted so I can see where you would be worn out going back at 2 weeks.

When possible rest as you can and give yourself time, especially since you were so worn down prior to surgery.
