memory loss
In the past 2 years I have been going through alot.
1. bleeding with clots
2. Anemia
3. memory loss ( starting to talk and then stopping because I can't remember the word that comes next)
4. pelvic pain
5. pain when sitting down
6. contractions (like the ones we have when we are pregnant)
7. and others......
I guess the one that I haven't heard anyone talking about is memory loss. I am on anti-anxiety/anti depressants. Anyone else having the memory loss problem?

memory loss
yes, I have been having memory loss. I am noticing that it is getting worse. One Saturday I was running errands and parked at several different places. I couldn't find my car three times in one day! I had never done that before.
My bleeding is extremely severe. Having had chronic anemia, on iron pills twice a day adn having had two blood transfusions in the last year. I have pretty much all the same symptoms that you have. I have a 5 cm fibroid which is bleeding very heavily, blood explosions is what I have been experiencing.
I am scheduled for TVH on 10/18. I've read that when your blood counts are normal, you have better focus, concentration, memory, feelings of euphoria and no more depression and anxiety. I am looking forward to it! I am still scared about the surgery and hoping that I am doing the right thing. I've tried less invasive treatments and nothing has worked for the past three years. I hope you are considering a long term solution.
Take care,

I had all your symptoms too !
I associated my memory lapses to the pain killers I was taking. Maybe thats it if you are taking them also

memory loss
The Dr. put me on progestrone to see if it would stop my bleeding. It didn't, but its weird I felt like I was more organized in my head at work, if that makes sense. I have said in other threads that once I have this surgery I will be able to get off all my meds. I am on anti-depressant, anti-anxiety meds. I believe my health will be much better after all is done.
