Bladder cramping anyone?

Wondering if anyone experiences a cramping feeling in lower ab when urinating? It doesn't burn as urine comes out, but it cramps badly right before and right after urination. Thanks!!!

Bladder cramping anyone?

From what I was told it is pretty normal to be feeling this. I had surgery Nov. 10th and had the same things happen to me. During the surgery, the are moving and removing your organs that they are tramatized. They need time to get back to normal. Mine lasted about 3 weeks. I still have some pain urinating and BM's. But it is a lot better than before. Keep your head up because it does get better. Take care.

Bladder cramping anyone?

Yes, yes, yes. I had surgery 11/15 and am still feeling this. It's not like a urinary tract infection. It's a spasm just about at the end of the flow. If my bladder is VERY full, a it is in the am, it is painful just to walk to the bathroom. I will be talking to my md next week (found some tumors when they cat scanned me for OTHER post op problems) and will ask her when this disappears. i'll let you know what she says. hang in there.

Bladder cramping anyone?

Yep, had exactly what you are describing. Hang in there. It will get better. I am at almost 5 weeks and just now my bladder is starting to settle down and urinating is bearable and is getting better...less and less intense "squeezing" feeling at the end. Yea!!!! I too was very upset thinking something was wrong, but what saved me was the support and advise from all the wonderful people here. P.S. if you are not already, drink TONS of water, no caffine/alcohol...this really makes a difference. Hang in there!!...mitch1129
